Ivy has heart-shaped to rounded triangular leaf forms, with dark grey-green colouring with cream to white edges. A medium height ivy, will brighten a shady wall. Ivy is a useful climbing shrub that will cope with those dry shady spots where nothing else will grow.  It can become invasive if not controlled by regular pruning.
